Who it's for
For workplaces where designated first aiders need to be competent across both adult and paediatric casualties — schools, nurseries, family-facing services, leisure and hospitality settings, family-run businesses, and multi-role safeguarding staff. Ideal where separate FAW and Paediatric qualifications would otherwise require two separate courses.
What you'll learn
- Assess and manage incidents involving both adult and paediatric casualties
- Perform CPR for adults, children, and infants
- Use an AED across adult and paediatric contexts
- Manage choking in adults, children, and infants
- Respond to shock, bleeding, burns, and injuries in both age groups
- Handle common medical emergencies including seizures, meningitis, asthma, and anaphylaxis
- Complete incident reporting to workplace and safeguarding standards
